The Holidays are here and the snow is flying! Things at The River’s Edge have slowed down. The river is extremely high right now. I wish we could save some of this water for the summer months! A recent survey by the PA Fish and Boat Commission shows the best time to fish for Steelhead in the Erie tributaries is January and February! If all goes well I will give it a go. Remember to have fun EVERYDAY!

Hope you are having a great winter and if you are up north catch a few nice steelheads at Walnut, Elk Creek, or anywhere you can at Lake Erie. The Kiski is looking mighty pretty this winter with so much snow and ice. And the wildlife is all around as usual. Deer, coyotes, fox, squirrels, and all our beautiful feathered friends…nice blog, Neil & Evelyn.
